Your tour starts from Leh by visiting the classical site of Indus valley. Later descend to the south following the part of epic trekking route of grand traverse of Zanskar and a part is through deep gorge of Zanskar river where in winter is conducted the famous frozen river trek (chadar trek). People living in valley are following their ancients’ authentic culture and tradition Valley is following its ancient’s authentic culture and tradition which has still maintained with respect and pride.


People living in Zanskar are Buddhist. Numbers of monasteries will be visited including that of Phuktal hooked in cliffy cave. Few crops grow their due to harsh climatic conditions. They are cut off from rest of the world for more than half of the year. 

After exploring the heart of Zanskar, you will now slowly begin to make your way toward the secluded Lahoul Valley to discover ancients temples not often visited by Western tourists, but primarily by Buddhist and Hindu pilgrims. continue passing by magnificent Lahoul Valley amidst the Himalayan mountain ranges to Manali- situated in the lush green valley of Kullu known as the "Valley of God" is popular for the mountain architecture and apple production.

At the end of your tour you will discover the Rock Garden and some of important m monuments of capital of India.

Arrive Delhi by evening / night. Welcome by our representative at airport, transfer to the hotel. Night in hotel.

Altitude ascends –3284m Altitude descends—60m. (While walking around Leh) Transfer to the domestic airport for flight to Leh. On arrival in Leh airport our colleague will transfer you to hotel, to be better acclimatize you will relax till midday, after lunch in hotel acclimatization walk to visit Shanti Stupa dominates entire Leh town, Royal Palace built by 5th Dalailama in 17th century is look like little Potala of Lahasa, stroll in the Bazar and night in hotel.

Leave early to visit the Hemis monastery, A mass of splendid architecture built by the inveterate royal architect Singe Namgyal in1630. The monastery belongs to Drukpa sect of Buddhism. Thiksey, a majestic monastery perched on a rocky outcrop built in the15th century during the first wave of expansion of Gelugpa sect in Ladakh. In the entry there are painting of protective deities and the great masters of the sect. Drive to Shey, once the capital of Upper Ladakh before being supplanted by Leh, monastery housed rich murals painting, well restored and represent the 18 arhats (disciples of Buddha who attained enlightenment).Drive further to Sakti. Night in fix camp or in guest house. Back to Leh evening at leisure, night in hotel.

Visit the monastery: Chemrey Gompa was built in 17th century by Lama Tagsang Raschen and belongs to the Drugpa Order. Approximately 20 monks and their young apprentices lives here. Monastery was initially built to serve as a memorial to King Sengge Namgyal. Its attraction is one-story high image of Padmasambhava and precious collection of scriptures. Than continue to Thak-Thok. Thakthok belongs to the Nying-ma –pa order is the residence of about 55 lamas. Inside the monastery, the images of Padma Sambhava and Avalokitesvara can be seen. The wall is decorated with the mural of Padmasambhava and painting of Sakyamuni and houses the statue of Mattrya or future Buddha or Buddha of compassion. Drive Stok, Visit Palace, an architectural wonder of Ladakhi artisan is built in 1820 is home to Namgyal dynasty Museum in palace house valuable antic objects, if time allows stroll in the village to meet the people to know their mode of life. Nigt in hotel.

Now from Leh the next site to visit is Alchi monastery. It is the oldest monastery of Ladakh. Alchi, visit Monastery. Among the many temples, caves and Stupas built in Ladakh Alchi, Choskor is the largest and the most famous of all of them, built by Rinchen Zangpo ablout 990 years ago. Monastery houses valuable mural painting and Thankas. Leave towards Lamayuru, one of the ancient monasteries magnificently perched on the hill. Before Buddhism penetrated in the region this site was known as a Centre for bon religion. Stroll around the monastery campus and admire the stunning beauty of landscape, night in a simple hotel.

Day starts with well-maintained road for few kms, now enters into the narrow gorge of sky touching multi-color spire. Here start the unpaved motor able road over Sir Sirla (4800m), Singela (5100m). Magnificent landscape with multicolor hue, monumental like mountains, rural villages and oasis are just awesome. By afternoon reached at Lingshed, located in the lap like shape of the mountains where it is inhabited from around thousands of years and is said to be the hunting area. Monastery here belongs to the Gelugpa School, it houses around 60 monks, Mahakala and Yamandhaka along with many other deities, Its Tangyur (Library) house more than 200 volumes of Tangyur books. Temples, stupas, statues, murals painting and manuscripts are another attraction of the monastery. Visit Village. Night in camp or home stay.

Morning drive back again to join the bifurcation above the village. Zig-Zag panoramic descend to the gorge of Zanskar River. Here the unpaved narrow road follows the opposite flow of roaring Zanskar River underneath of sky touching amazingly beautiful sheer spire. After an hour of life time memorable drive, you will notice that valley is getting wider slowly before reaching to the habitable village and immense large horizon open up toward the south. Reach Zangala, the ancient capital of Zanskar kingdom. Night in camp/ home stay. Afternoon or by evening visit fort in ruin is the architectural example of the valley, located strategically on the rocky outcrop high above to have the village in clear view. Stroll in the village to admire the local rustic houses and to encounter the villages.

Leave early morning to Stongdey. Located high above the village on the cliff. Provide the stunning beauty of its surrounding mountains and the valley where Zanskar river born after immersion of Doada and Tserap rivers which flows in middle throughout. Eleventh century monastery belongs to Gelukpa order is the second largest of monastic institution. Around 60 Lamas reside here. Further to Karsha, stunningly located above Karsha village is very much picturesque. It belongs to gelugpa order (yellow hate) of Tibetan Buddhism, it was founded by the translator, Phagspa Shesra. Monastery house wall paintings, Statue of Avaloketeshwara and many more statues, where resides around 40 monks who perform the prayers and other activities. After visit the Padum, a tiny hamlet is administrative headquarter of Zanskar and is the center where people buy and sell their products. Night in guest house / home stay.

An early morning departure for Zonkhul. En route, we visit the Saini Monastery, which belongs to the Drukpa Kagyu school of Tibetan Buddhism and is the only monastery of this order in Zanskar to house nuns. We take a stroll through the village to get a glimpse of local life. We continue westward into the Stod Valley, then, after a short while, leave the main road to follow a narrow track for approximately 8 km. This isolated site—magnificently situated and far from any human settlements—belongs to the Drukpa school of Buddhism. Its foundation is attributed to Naropa (956–1041 AD); it is believed that he meditated here for two years and that his footprints are still visible on the site. We return to Padum in the afternoon. The evening is free for you to stroll around this small market town which is administrative headquarter of Zanskar valley. Night in a guesthouse or in hotel.

Leave early, on the way Stop at Bardan, monastery belongs to Drukpa sect of Budhism. Follow the opposite flow of TSerap River passing by the village of Reru and Cha. Once at Purani you can take advantage to drive on a very rough trail for few kms to cut short the distance. Here onward follow the opposite flow of Lungnak River by a scenic narrow valley till Phuktal Gompa for 1h30 one way. Phuktal Gompa, the site which is a unique attraction due to the way it is built in the cliffy lime stone cave high above the Lungnak river flowing at its beneath. It belongs to the tradition of the Gelugpas (Yellow hats). The spring that gurgles deep in the cave is still out of bound to the women. The Hungarian historian Cosma de Koros stayed there over the winter of 1825-26. It houses the mural paintings, statues, library where stored the sacred books and around 70 monks live here. One can meet the monks who may be busy in their daily routine schedule. Back till purne by same way, night in camp/ home stay.

The Vehicle will drop you at the Bridge of Testa (3980m). From there, you will walk for around one hour to two hours through villages amidst farms of barley and peas and will admire the Mane wall adorned with the carved stones depicting the mantra "Om Mane Padme Hum" and various Buddhist symbols. Join the village of Tanje is located on the other side of the river and is the starting point for treks to the Phirtsela Pass. Drive to the village of Kye (4350m), you will have time to wander around and discover the local way of life. You will encounter the cheerful local residents, who may invite you to share a cup of butter tea or *Chang* (a fermented barley beer). Kye is one of the most beautiful villages in the region, situated in an open area that offers excellent views of the surrounding mountains. Afterward, you will rejoin the main route at Kargyak—the southernmost village in Zanskar. After visiting this magnificent village, the route continues to Gomborangjum: a large rock formation towering over the valley that holds great religious significance for the locals. You will also have the opportunity to spot herds of yaks grazing in the surrounding pastures. Night in a fixed camp with proper beds.

After breakfast, you will leave the Zanskar Valley, crossing the final pass—Shinkula Pass—which serves as the southern gateway to Zanskar from Lahoul valley. From the pass, you will enjoy breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks and the glacier lying beneath you, as you traverse a route situated high above the ancient trekking trails. You are now in the Lahaul Valley; the landscape gradually shifts from the stark desert of Zanskar to the semi-arid terrain of Lahaul, characterized by its picturesque villages and incredibly welcoming inhabitants, dominated by towering mountains and farms filled with various types of vegetables yield here. You will travel through the tunnel beneath the Rohtang Pass, which leads into the lush region of the Kullu Valley. Upon exiting the tunnel, you will feel a refreshing coolness as the landscape undergoes a radical transformation, shifting from a semi-desert environment to a verdant green landscape. An hour of drive will take you through forests, flower-strewn slopes, and waterfalls right from the slope of the high mountains. After checking in, you will have the opportunity to stroll around the village. Night in hotel.

Take a stroll through the village of old Manali to discover the lifestyle of the locals and unique architecture of their typical mountain houses. Visit the Temple of Saint Manu, who is revered as the first man on Earth—much as Adam is regarded in Christianity as the figure marking the beginning of humanity. Further to one kilometer from the villagekis located the Hadimba Devi Temple, distinguished by its pagoda-style architecture; it is nestled amidst the cedar forest of Dhungri. According to legend, Bhima—one of the Pandava brothers—fall in love with a local woman named Hadimba (sister of the local chieftain, also named Hadimb) and took her as his wife. After lunch, enjoy some free time to explore the town of Manali to mingle with local folk. Night in hotel. Kullu, situated deep within the Himalayan ranges, is a valley renowned for its apple orchards including pines and *deodars*—Himalayan cedars, and the warm hospitality of its local habitants. The valley is home to over 100 temples and deities, Hence got its nickname "The Valley of the Gods." The Aryans gave the name to this valley *Kulantapitha* term means "the end of the habitable world.

Enjoy an early breakfast, and then hit the road, passing through several Himalayan villages en route to Chandigarh. If time permits before your train departs, take a quick look around the city or stroll along the lakeside to refresh yourself before boarding the train to Delhi. Dinner will be served on board of train. Upon arrival, you will be transferred, night in hotel.

Morning visit Humayun Tomb, was commissioned in 1558 by Empress Bega Begum. Designed by Persian architects, it is India’s first garden-tomb and a precursor to the Taj Mahal. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1993, the monument stands as a milestone in Mughal architecture. India Gate, a war memorial commemorating Indian soldiers who lost their lives during World War the Third Anglo-Afghan War. And I Roman triumphal arches inspire the structure. And Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of the President of India. The building reflects a blend of classical European and Indian architectural styles. By evening visit Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, One of Delhi’s most significant Sikh shrines, Gurdwara Bangla Sahib is associated with Guru Har Krishan, the eighth Sikh Guru. Known for its sacred Sarovar (pond), the gurdwara symbolizes service and compassion and is open to people of all faiths. Evening transfer to airport to board the flight to your onward destination. No hotel from 12 noon onward.

Your journey will take you through the Indus ( Ladakh) and Zanskar valleys into the remote region of Himachal Pradesh. Until recently, parts of Zanskar were accessible only to trekkers; however, a new road built in recent years now allows non-trekkers to visit this magnificent and vast region. The Zanskar

Remains closed part of the year as its mountain passes remain inaccessible due to heavy winter snows.

This journey provide the opportunity to discovering a rich diversity of cultures and religions, unfolding across one of the most secluded part of the Himalayas. You will traverse several mountain passes—including Sirsir La, Singge La and  and Shinku La—gives you exit from Zanskar into the Lahaul Valley before continuing to the Kullu Valley in the state of Himachal Pradesh. The highest pass on this itinerary is Singge La, elevating 5,100 meters.


Landscapes: The scenery is breath-taking, though it will not be lush and green everywhere; a significant portion of the journey takes place in completely arid zones (Ladakh and Zanskar), followed by the semi-arid terrain of Lahaul, and finally the lush verdant valley of  Kullu-Manali —where the monsoon rains are ever-present from mid-July through August, and sometimes extending until mid- September.



Accommodation is based on 3-star category in cities of Delhi- A class in Leh (equivalent to 3*). Neat and clean local standards of hotels in Kargil and Manali, Two men spacious tents while trekking, Indian and partly Tibetan (Ladakhi) vegetarian meals is served, non veg. is subject to availability in rural. Indian recipes are bit on spicy side, breakfast and dinner will be served at the hotel, 

 Please understand that during the tour in rural lunch can be packed packed, but while in small town you will have opportunity to savor the local recipes at road side restaurant, which are simple but provide the fresh meals.

Sleeping Bags: 
For this trip you need to bring your sleeping bag as you will be sleeping few nights in simple guest house or in monastery or in home stay ( depend what we will get  at the moment we reach there  as advance booking is not possible ) where there are only basic accommodation available. You required a warm and comfortable sleeping bag (- 10 to - 15 ° C.) 



Bottle water in city and in restaurants will be at your charge, while trekking our team will provide boil cold water, it’s not enough for the day hence you will take from the spring or streams and has to purify by your own.  For example by “chlorine tablets” (pastilles Micropur)


Exchange rate is vary from time to time; you need to verify the latest.

Facilities to get cash exchange is available on arrival at airport in Delhi, Leh, Manali and in some hotels, private money exchanger in town are available as well. You can withdraw from the ATM as well. There are certain shop where you can pay by credit card those wish to buy the souvenir.


Vehicle will be deputed as per the group size to the number of persons in group. Type of vehicle will be Scorpio, Zylo, Innova or minibus for the group. All vehicle will be air-conditioned, except in hilly area air-condition of any vehicle cannot be regularly used due to steep uphill drive, so you have to co-operate with. 


 You will take local flight between Delhi to Leh. Baggage weight is authorized 15 kgs. On check in bags and 7 kg. in cabin (can be change without prior information’s) Exceeding the authorized weight will cost 300 to 500 rs per kilo and has to be paid by clients directly. Those who refuse to pay the excess baggage will be not allow to check in or in case he or she insist and got the boarding pass, will have lot of issue in security check as there can be unauthorized items, even complete the security check but will definitely not allow to board the flight or will be de-board the flight.
All extra cost occurred due to such mess will be on client charge, also he she will be responsible to disturb the holiday schedule of the whole group and all the cost of the tours / trek will be borne by him / her only. Himalayan Frontiers will be not have any responsibilities and control and right to argue on the airline policies. 


 Road around Leh, when descending from Leh toward starting point of the trek at Padum and from the end of the trip to Delhi is in good condition, except some portions are being widen or may found damaged by seasonal monsoon.

Most of the road journey take place in high altitude desert area but in exceptional case unusual rain may knock the door or high melting rates of glacier which can overflow the local rivulets and can cause the damage of road.

 You can be blocked for hours, you may miss the places expected to visit or will visit the unexpected places, to regulate the situation the team at the spot will do the best possible at the moment. Road in India are being widen at so many states, So please don’t compare the driving time as estimated in cities or in developed nation.  



Is  that you will be travelling in the mountainous regions, most of the mountain streams are glacier linked, due to the high melting rate of glacier can raise the water level and even in sunny day road can be damaged or bridge can be washed away.  Occasional rain can be the cause of damaging the road or destabilize the scheduled itinerary.


Due to wide range of temperature and climate conditions, it is advisable to bring appropriate clothing. For protection against cold a layered clothing is better than a few thick ones, so choose your cloths accordingly. Cloths should be preferable be made from natural materials which allow the body to breath better. You will be offending people if you walk around in skimpy or tight fitting clothes. Although there are normally opportunities to wear shorts, it is strictly forbidden to be with short in any religious places as monasteries and temples. We would advise women to wear shirts or loose trousers, men should not wear singlet. Make sure that your clothing should be packed in poly bag inside the back pack / duffle bag etc.

During this trip you will be visiting highly revered Buddhist monasteries, where in morning and evening daily ritual is practiced. If you will have occasion to participate such events, you are requested to be silent, respect the rule and regulations and subject to the permission granted by monks you can join them silently when chanting the mantras in full devotion and in deep emotion.


There will be not any foreign mobile telephonic connectivity in Indian Himalaya. Only local sim works in Ladakh- Zanskar. You can use your WhatsApp where Wi-fi facilities are available. In city of Manali and Delhi you can have roaming facilities if you activate your sim in advance. 

Mobile satellite phones are strictly forbidden in Ladakh due to security reasons. Ladakh is one of the most militarized regions in India due to its geographical proximity with China and Pakistan. If you own a mobile satellite phone, you must keep it at home, don’t bring it with you to Ladakh.  If found guilty can be lead to the jurisdiction process or deported or imprisonment. 


You will be accompany by a professional English- Hindi speaking or language guide (subject to availability on additional cost) who be assisted by local escort. Drivers and guide will be there to taking care of you while travelling. 


During the journey Guide and driver will be there to serve you at their best. They are chosen for their experience of mountains, knowledge of the outdoors, local culture and ability to communicate with foreign clients. 



Generally, vary to different season, when enter in Ladakh - Zanskar which remain almost rain free part of India due to its arid climate, how ever since few years Ladakh has noticed the rain due to climatic change. 

Lahoul is semi desert area may face partly monsoon rain during the months of July – Aug.  .


June to August minimum can be recorded10 to 15°C a

Septembre-: 0 à 10 degrés, maximum: 15 à 25 degrés.

And maximum can raise till is 30°C -35°C due to its high-altitude deserted terrain.

In Sep. Temperature descend few degrees compare to summer and occasionally in higher regions of Ladakh you can notice the fresh snow.


Pre-travel conditioning is very desirable, as more you are prepared the more you enjoy the trips. For such trekking trips required good physic. 

As we gain altitude slowly, so we get acclimatize naturally. And for the vast majority the slow ascent to height will produce minimum effects. The most important attribute for any adventure travel trip is positive attitude.


Many metropolitan cities is India are not that much conservative, but still in certain part of cities and in rural it is better to dress conservatively, One should not try to attract attention towards themselves due to their dressing style, while entering to religious site one should take off shoes, don’t dress short and half sleeves and are required to cover the head. Mobile is required to be in silent mode, hugging and kissing will shock the people hence restricted in public, To be respected, respect always local people and their culture.


Best method to get better acclimatization to climb higher and sleep lower, Avoid rapid ascend and walk slowly. 

Don’t drink alcohol, don’t take sleeping pills and avoid smoking. 

Drink at least 3-4 litters of liquid a day. 

Don’t exhaust by carrying heavy packs, Back pack should be 10-12 kg for normal trekkers.  If you have minor symptoms, better to not proceed higher. And should take aspirin tablets. But If the symptoms start worsening than prepare the immediate descend. One should keep in mind that the member should be not left behind unattended.

Pre-travel conditioning is very desirable, as more you are prepared the more you enjoy the trips. For all the cultural tours in Himalaya minimum, physically fitness is required. One has to be in good health and able to resist while long and rough road drive, Urbane road in this region are getting better and better, you will be travelling to explore the rural of Ladakh- Zanskar where road are not that wide as compare to cities (widening is underway) but traffic rate is lesser hence required patience, distance covering time is not same as in cities highway which may cause fatigue to certain persons..


Itinerary / hotels are sub to change in case of strike, civil war threaten, you may be will lose expected places you have prepared for but will explore unexpected and for sure will not disappointed.

In case of Vehicle break down another mode of transport will be managed at the earliest possible, In that case you are requested to keep patience and co-operate with the situation, while travelling to rural and isolated area replacing vehicle can take time due to lack of communication or distance to pass the message with the other vehicle those who are driving toward the nearest town or the place from where one can have telephone facilities. Or from where one can be connected by Mobile phone. Also you can be transferred by the other type of vehicle whatever is available at the moment as of local bus till you will be not having the proper mode of transport.


The Company cannot be made liable for the consequences of weather condition, flight or train cancellations, war or threat of civil war, strikes, industrial action, and political unrest or any other force majeure, unusual or unforeseen circumstance. The company reserves the right to use alternate transport, or vary the itinerary if breakdown, sickness or any other force major. Any additional that result, such as extra hotel accommodation, flight or road transport will be on your charge and must be paid directly at the spot.

Take a spacious day bag having capacity to pack the things for day use as of water bottles, camera, sun cream or medicine pack those needed etc.



Take a flexible travel bag type of duffle bag. You will pack this bag with the things you don’t need during the day. While traveling the baggage will be loaded on the roof or in the back of the vehicles, hence the day use essential should be packed in day sac or day bag. 


While travelling your bags will be on the roof or on the back of the vehicle. 

 All you need to carry is your day pack which contain your items of day use with pack lunch, water bottle , camera  etc. and some additional items if need to carry in case of bad weather. We remind your attention that your main bag should not exceed 15 kg and all your belonging should be well packed in plastic bag to avoid getting wet or avoid dust to entering in the bag if not closed properly.

 Think of to bring rough and tough bag to avoid tearing and scratching 


To calm the damage of the bag weather it happen in vehicle or with horse / mule, we advise you to take the appropriate insurance whereas pony man (men) and company will be not liable for such unpredictable loss.


 Preparation of relief of sun burn, Lip salve, Anti septic cream, Antihistamine cream (for relief of insect bites), Anti diarrhea (flagyl or any other), Anti headach (diamox, aspirin, paracitamol, zimalgin), Anti vomiting (avomin), For stomachach (baralgan,trigan or other diagnose) Dettol, washproof dettol plaster, Bandage and cotton, Balm, Anti cramp spray, Pills to purify the water, Scissor and knife are must in the medical kit. 

According to your physical condition you are requested to consult your doctor to complete your medical kit. Apart from that HIMALAYAN FRONTIERS also provides an additional medical kit including oxygen cylinder and Diamox with each group. Special precaution is taken to pack some medicine to deal with Prevention from Altitude sickness.

India is ranked in zone 2 on the risks scale (maximum of 3) above all during the Monsoon (from June to September). If a trip is cancelled due to adverse weather, illness, an accident, a death, a natural disaster, or the political unrest, no refunds will be made, however we will take all necessary steps to modify the itinerary; Any additional expenses arise cause of this process, we may—if necessary—ask clients (partners) to contribute to the additional expenses occurred due to such unforeseen circumstances.  Nevertheless, we will bear any minor cost differences without bothering the customers. Those who cancel their trip, following the terms and conditions norms as per the time period we will refund the advance or full payment made to book the trip by deducting the applicable taxes as of GST, bank charges, file charges and other applicable taxes and charges. For foreign client’s differences of currency buying has to be borne as per the present exchange rates.


24-2: For foreign nation participants additional charges will be add on to buy the foreign currency, (hence buying the currency charges has to be borne by clients) bank transfer (wire transfer) charges and other administrative paperwork to be completed which is quite long exhausted process, we request you to understand and co-operate with. This is mandatory for all clients travelling on any tour/ trek / expedition or independent itinerary arranged by us. You are responsible for obtaining adequate insurance covering expenses of unexpected / unforeseen circumstances as mentioned in liability paragraph, such loss or damage of baggage, medical expenses, war or threat of civil war, strikes, industrial action, political unrest or any other force majeure, unusual or unforeseen circumstance, helicopter (air or ground) rescue, injury, death, repatriation, cancellation and curtailment of the itinerary.



An Individuals occupying a Dble (Twin) room for single occupancy will be automatically charged additionally as single room surcharge. This applies to groups with an odd number of participants (e.g., 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, etc.)


The custom of giving "small" tips to hotel porters is almost universal. Be sure to have some small change on hand: 50 INR per room for this service, 25 INR for solo travelers, and 100 to 200 INR per meal for restaurant waiters, depending on the size of the group. Tipping your tour drivers and guides is a different matter entirely and may be done in your national currency. The amount varies depending on the size of the group. It is nothing but is gesture of gratitude to your service


Use of any general satellite phones (Thuraya / Irridium or any others) is strictly prohibited / forbidden in India for the security reason, and also you will travelling close to Indo- Tibet border of Ladakh.  It is officially illegal and is an offence.

Such mobile phone /  I phone  which has facilities of auto connectivity to GPS  through satellite, we request to deactivate such services from your devices before leaving your home country and do not activate  it till you reach back home. 

Any individual found to be in possession of an unauthorized satellite phone in India or found using such services  which are forbidden by law, he / she will be liable to prosecute or can be imprisoned without any bail by Indian law and enforcement agencies.

We, The Himalayan Frontiers as your DMC will have no role and no right to intervene between the persons found guilty and the competitive authority. Matter will be directly under the supervision of the competitive authority of India.


Throughout the trip electricity will be available at every town / places but power cut can be noticed very often. You may need to recharge your mobile battery during the day as in vehicle there are limited distributors, to facilitate the recharging the battery we recommend you to bring a high-capacity portable power bank to charge your mobile phones or camera battery if it happen to face such situation. In the rural of Ladakh Zanskar ( Lingshed, Purne, and at Comborangjum there is not at all power supply and you wiil reply on your powerbank.

The voltage is 220V, and the outlets are almost the same as in Europe. In some locations, the power outlets feature wide sockets, so we advise you to bring an adapter.


Before any administrative procedures, please check that your passport is valid for more than 6 months after the date of return, be sure it has minimum 3 blank pages left in good condition.


To visit India you need Indian visa, E visa or ETV Visa is applied online and is more convenient and faster to obtain than classical visa, for classic visa you need to take appointment at VFS or send the documents by post which take more time than ETV. To apply for visa you will complete online visa application (form), upload the copy of passport that you are travelling with, Identity photo of particular size required of Indians standards -JPEG format, visa fee must be paid online by credit card. Once uploading of required documents is complete, you will get mail back with document of granted visa within 48 hours or earlier.  Once Visa granted mail received, you must print it and present it with your plane tickets when boarding and on arrival at the Indian immigration service.
